Peter Hessler - 17-05-2022 11:08:31

Kurt Kayser - 17-05-2022 11:14:39
@NCC interestingly the static slide video traffic goes now up to 1Mbps..

Desiree Miloshevic Evans - 17-05-2022 11:24:28

Octopus Energy in the UK have a tariff that changes price every 30 mins and can result in them paying you to use energy

Brett Carr - 17-05-2022 11:31:10
This is however a rare occurrence (especially now) but used to happen semi regularly 1.5 years ago

FWIW, as a Pole, I'm not happy at all for this "Poland" running example - I mean, I understand the situation we have here and I wish it was different; but we're definitely not the only country to blame ;)

Next year is the expected peak of solar activity. If there is a chance to protect the network infrastructure from a powerful potential solar blast, my advice would be: act now and think about how to survive such an event.

Marco Davids - 17-05-2022 11:34:47

mic technique needs improvement

Elvis Daniel Velea - 17-05-2022 11:35:41
I suggest that one of the microphones to be set for tall people and one for not so tall people :) and this to be advertised in the room once done :P

Daniel Karrenberg - 17-05-2022 11:35:54
@Pawel: I do not think this was 'PL bashing'. We all understand the geopolitical situation. The point is that we *all* have to make plans to get away from burning fossil fuels as soon as possible.

Section 6.1.3.2 of [RFC1123] states:

DNS resolvers and recursive servers MUST support UDP, and SHOULD
support TCP, for sending (non-zone-transfer) queries.

Peter Hessler - 17-05-2022 11:51:26
7766 was published in 2016, and some of the older linuxes the speaker is talking about are from 2014

Kurt Kayser - 17-05-2022 11:57:37
